Two New Members Join Board Of Directors

Following our announcement of raising $13 million and plans for bringing our financing platform to the US in 2014, we are proud to announce two additions to our Board of Directors.

Katie Robinson and Mark Johnson will be joining the Financeit Board of Directors, providing insight on expansion plans, operations, and overall strategy for the company. Both Katie and Mark come from backgrounds of proven success in investment and innovation, and we’re very excited to have them on our team as we prepare for the most exciting time in our company’s history.

director-katieKatie Robinson is Vice President of Strategic Innovation at FIS, the world’s top provider of technology, processing and services to the banking and payments industry. Katie’s responsibilities include driving growth and innovation organically within FIS, as well as externally through strategic partnerships, acquisitions and investments. Katie identifies high-potential growth-stage companies, invests in them, mentors the leadership team, and facilitates a commercial partnership to distribute their products to FIS clients.

With more than 20 years of experience in retail, loyalty, and financial services, Katie’s track record of success includes previous positions at Alliance Data’s Retail division; where she developed and managed integrated credit, marketing, and loyalty solutions for some of the most recognizable brands in North America.

She holds a degree in Women’s Studies from Ohio State University.

director-markMark Johnson joined TTV – a significant investing group throughout our Series A funding – as a partner in 2008. He is the former vice chairman of CheckFree, where his responsibilities included overseeing mergers and acquisitions, evaluating strategic growth opportunities for the company, developing strategic corporate relationships and supporting long-term business strategies. He was also a member of the CheckFree board of directors.

Prior to joining CheckFree, Mark worked for the Federal Reserve Bank and Bank One. He currently serves on a number of private companies’ boards of directors, is a former chairman of Venture Atlanta, and on the board of directors of the Technology Association of Georgia.

Mark holds an undergraduate degree from Miami University and an M.B.A. from Ohio State University.
