Meet Andrew Bowyer, Director of Sales (Ontario) at Financeit. Andrew’s career at Financeit spans nearly ten years and reflects the company’s continued focus on building strong sales leadership from within. Since joining the organization in 2015, Andrew has taken on a range of roles across the sales team, developing deep relationships with partners and a strong understanding of the home improvement lending industry.

What’s your role at Financeit, and what do you do day-to-day?

For the past two years, I’ve been working on a program we call Financeit Credit – an offering that gives our existing borrowers access to more flexible lending solutions beyond our core home improvement loan offering. Working closely with teams across the organization, the program has grown steadily since its official launch in early 2024 and continues to grow and evolve with our borrower’s credit needs.

In January 2026, I’ll be officially rejoining our Sales team as Director of Sales, where I’ll be leading our team in Ontario. In this role, I oversee an incredible group of Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers who are responsible for growing our home improvement lending portfolio across the province.

What has your career growth journey been like?

I joined Financeit in 2015 as a Business Development Associate (BDA), at a time when point-of-sale home improvement financing was still an emerging concept in Canada. Over the past 10 years, my career journey has encompassed the full sales lifecycle: from hunting new clients as a BDA to managing and scaling relationships as an Account Manager and later as a Regional Sales Manager. Leveraging this extensive field experience, I then stepped into leadership roles, first as a Sales Manager leading the Inside Sales team, and most recently as the Director of Sales, where I lead our Ontario Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers.

How would you describe Financeit’s culture?

Financeit has always had a strong culture that rewards people who think strategically and work hard. Our success is rooted in a belief that we can build the largest point-of-sale home improvement lending company in Canada – and over time, we’ve built that belief into a reality.

In true Financeit fashion, being the “biggest” wasn’t enough. We’re now entering the next phase of growth, and as we look for ways to continuously improve our core business and expand our product offering, we’re looking for the next wave of creative and hardworking talent to get us there. If you like a fast-paced environment that requires you to enhance your skillset day in and day out, then this is the place for you.

What is it like to work in Sales at Financeit?

Sales is the engine that drives growth at Financeit. We have a tendency to set ambitious goals – and then deliver on them, thanks to the support of our amazing teams across Tech, Operations, and Marketing.

Working in Sales requires balancing day-to-day client management while also identifying new growth opportunities within the residential home improvement industry. The role requires our team to be proactive, think strategically, and approach every relationship in a consultative way, always with the goal of helping our clients succeed.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining our team?

Working at Financeit has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It’s a place that welcomes individuality and gives employees the opportunity to learn, develop, and contribute meaningfully at one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies*.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love staying active and spending time outdoors. I’m usually either out walking my dog, Homer, or trying to win a few bucks on the golf course. On Sundays, my partner and I enjoy spending time in the kitchen – though I’m mostly the sous chef in charge of cleanup.
