Meet Jayesh Thakkar, Financeit’s Senior IT Support Specialist. As part of our IT Support team, Jayesh helps keep our network and systems secure, reliable, and running efficiently. His work ensures that employees can stay focused and productive, while also driving innovation across the company’s technology landscape.
What’s your role at Financeit, and what do you do day-to-day?
My role involves three key areas of focus. First, I provide hands-on technical support to our users, enabling them to work effectively. Second, I manage the administration and security of our network infrastructure and various company systems. Third, I work with my team to identify, evaluate, and deploy new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency across Financeit.
What has your growth journey looked like here?
My time at Financeit has been a period of significant growth. I’ve had the chance to work directly with advanced systems and technologies, moving beyond theoretical knowledge to gain valuable hands-on expertise. A big part of my development has been sharpening my diagnostic skills – I can now pinpoint and resolve issues much faster, which helps reduce downtime and improves outcomes.
Beyond the technical skills, I’ve also had the opportunity to take ownership of new projects and responsibilities, which has been instrumental in developing my capabilities in leadership and effective team collaboration.
How would you describe Financeit’s culture?
One of the best parts of working at Financeit is the culture – it’s incredibly supportive and open. The team is very cooperative. There isn’t the rigid hierarchy you often find elsewhere – instead, it’s easy to approach anyone for guidance, and you’re trusted to manage your own work without being micromanaged.
The hybrid model also adds flexibility, letting us work from different locations during the year. On top of that, Financeit puts a big emphasis on team building. With so many events and activities, it never feels monotonous – you really feel like you’re part of a community.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining our team?

What do you like to do outside of work?
I love sports and staying active – cricket is my favourite. I also enjoy building and fixing things, and I’ve become a pretty skilled handyman over the years.
